Tunnel Vision
Warning: I'd suggest turning your headphones down lol
Extinguish fires to push back the smoke and quell the rising panic tightening around you. Let it close in, and it will consume you. Keep the number of active fires below 12 or risk being overwhelmed.
Controls:
- W, A, S, D to move
- Press SPACE when on a fire to extinguish it
- SMOTHER THE SPARKS!: Use LEFT CLICK on sparks to smother them
- STOMP IT OUT!: Mash the matching button to stomp the fire out
- STOP, DROP AND ROLL!: Press the matching keys simultaneously before the time runs out to extinguish yourself. The button combination needed resets when the timer runs out.

Artist's Statement:
Tunnel Vision is a game about mounting pressure and narrowing focus, made in Unity. The core game loop is simple: put out endlessly spawning fires, one at a time, keeping their number from growing too large. But putting out fires isn’t enough. The player is surrounded by a dark vignette of smoke that closes in faster as time goes on, contributing to a creeping anxiety and shrinking sense of control. Every fire you extinguish pushes the smoke back briefly, granting a small reprieve – but it never lasts. The fires build, the ring tightens, and the pressure escalates.
This game explores “putting out fires” both literally and figuratively – how we juggle urgent tasks while everything else begins to collapse. I wanted to capture the feeling of being overwhelmed, desperately trying to stay afloat despite the panic of falling behind and the claustrophobia of limited options. There’s no winning. You are trapped in a relentless loop, where each small success is overshadowed by the next looming task.
